Mullen Automotive has launched its own in-house telematics system for its electric vehicles.
The EV maker said Monday that its Commercial Pulse system, powered by artificial intelligence, would provide drivers and fleet companies connections between vehicles, with maintenance alerts, battery state metrics and safety information.
“As we have seen in our early customer pilots and engineering fleet, and by continuously monitoring vehicle performance, our system can detect potential maintenance issues before breakdowns empowering businesses to streamline operations and enhance efficiencies,” said Chief Commercial Officer John Schwegman.
The system is available on the company’s cargo van and low cab forward electric vehicles.
